INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
COUPLES / RELATIONSHIP THERAPY
Why Choose a Clinical Psychologist?
Clinical psychologists bring a unique combination of expertise and evidence-based approaches to mental health care. With advanced training in assessment, diagnosis, and intervention, they provide personalised support tailored to your specific needs.
My work extends beyond therapy to include promoting mental health awareness, supporting neurodiversity, and enhancing workplace well-being. Whether you're seeking individual support or organisational solutions, my skills in assessment, problem-solving, and fostering positive change offer invaluable benefits for healthier individuals, relationships, and communities.
Services
I offer a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, supported by extensive training, ongoing professional development, and supervision. The therapy we choose together will align with NICE-recommended guidelines and may also reflect my professional expertise or your personal preferences, provided there are no contraindications.

As a trained integrative therapist, I use my professional judgement to determine the most suitable therapeutic approach or treatment plan tailored to your needs. If I believe that one of my associates at Rainbow Psychological Services Ltd would be a better fit for your situation, we will discuss this thoroughly, ensuring you have all the information needed to make the best choice for your care and outcomes.

However, as a trained clinical psychologist, I am able to offer far more than just 1:1 therapy. Take a look at what is available.
Individual Therapy
When you initially come to therapy with me, we would undertake a comprehensive assessment to best understand your current problems, your life history and how the two could be intertwined. This assessment can take between one and four sessions. By ensuring we have an in-depth and shared understanding of what is going on for you, we can then decide together what you would hope to gain from coming to therapy and then how we can work towards this. It is important to note that for some people this consultation assessment is enough to help make sense of the situation. For others a short, or longer term therapeutic solution might be discussed. I will always agree treatment with you. If you have been referred or are using an insurance provider the number of sessions might be negotiated with the third party.

You will be offered a 'safe', confidential and non-judgemental environment to explore your problems and work towards attaining your 'life-worth-living' goals.
Couples / Relationship Therapy
The connections and relationships we form in life shape the person we are, and the life that we have and the romantic encounters we have are often the most important relationships to us. And yet these intimate relationships seldom run completely smoothly and each passing year, the stresses and strains of life can add complexities to our connections.

The aims of couples / relationship therapy is usually to improve communication, work towards resolving your issues and where possible reconnecting. At times when this isn't possible for you, therapy can be about getting a good ending.

Relationship therapy can involve family or friendship dynamics or even relationships with colleagues at work. Therapy looks to examine and develop your ability to build and maintain healthy relationships, identify and lay down boundaries and enhance interpersonal connections.
Training & Education
I have extensive experience in designing and delivering training, ranging from comprehensive therapeutic programmes to one-off psychoeducation sessions.
My work includes educating workplaces about neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD, and learning differences, as well as providing guidance on implementing reasonable adjustments to support employees with these conditions.

Through tailored training, I help organisations build understanding, foster inclusivity, and create environments where individuals can thrive. Whether you’re looking for a full programme or a targeted session, I can design training to meet your specific needs.
Cognitive & Psychometric Assessment
As a clinical psychologist, I am qualified to perform, score, and report on a wide range of psychometric tests. These assessments are designed to evaluate various aspects of psychological functioning, including cognitive abilities, personality traits, and attachment styles. This means I can assess for cognitive decline and undertake mental capacity assessments.

In addition to psychometric testing, I am extensively trained in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and learning difficulties.
My expertise allows me to provide comprehensive evaluations and tailored recommendations to support individuals in understanding and managing these conditions effectively.

If you require psychometric testing or neurodevelopmental assessments, please feel free to contact me for more information.
Supervision
As a member of the British Psychological Society's Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS), I have undergone specialised training in clinical supervision.
I currently provide supervision to professionals at all stages of their careers, from trainees to consultants, across a range of disciplines.
Whether you're seeking to enhance your practice or meet professional development requirements, I offer tailored supervision to support your growth and expertise.
Group Therapy
I provide group therapy sessions, which can be an effective treatment option for certain conditions. Research has demonstrated that group therapy offers significant benefits, including the opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges in a supportive environment.

In addition to its therapeutic value, group therapy can also be a more cost-effective way to access professional support. For further details or to explore whether group therapy might be suitable for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Research
With a doctoral-level qualification, I have extensive experience conducting high-quality research using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies.
My work has included service evaluation and audits, and I currently have two papers under peer review for publication.
